Pluto TV

PlutoTV has started a new channel called PlutoTV 007, which features a 24-hour block of nearly every single James Bond film, prior to the 1990s. So, that means, all of Sean Connery, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, and bizarrely, that one spoof of Casino Royale with Peter Sellers and David Niven both playing James Bond. Here’s the list from PlutoTV.

  1. Casino Royale (1954)
  2. Dr. No
  3. Diamonds Are Forever
  4. For Your Eyes Only
  5. From Russia With Love
  6. Goldfinger
  7. Licence To Kill
  8. Live And Let Die
  9. The Living Daylights
  10. The Man With The Golden Gun
  11. Moonraker
  12. Octopussy
  13. On Her Majesty’s Secret Service
  14. The Spy Who Loved Me
  15. Thunderball
  16. A View To A Kill
  17. You Only Live Twice

Although it’s not listed, Never Say Never Again is also seemingly part of this marathon, too. A brief refresher: Never Say Never Again stars Sean Connery as Bond, but it’s not an “official” James Bond movie. Co-starring Kim Basinger, Never Say Never Again it was released as a weird nostalgia remake of Thunderball back in 1983 and was bizarrely directed by Irvin Kershner, the same guy who directed The Empire Strikes Back. It’s weird, but certainly not as weird as the spoof version of Casino Royale.

Still, the good news is that the vast majority of these movies are real-deal Bond movies, and it seems like Dr. No kicks-off the whole thing, which is great, because it remains a solid Bond movie that people tend to skip, despite it being the very first Connery film.

Finally, to be clear, this streaming Bond marathon does have commercials, and you can’t control which of the retro Bond movies is playing at any given time; they’re all just sort of running in a long block. Pluto says the marathon will happen for a “limited time” ahead of the release of the final Daniel Craig film, No Time To Die, on April 10, 2020, so this won’t last forever.

Finally, yes, you read that correctly above, there are zero Pierce Brosnan or Daniel Craig movies in this line-up, which means it’s exactly like a Bond TV marathon from the ’90s.

Here’s that link to the PlutoTV 007 channel.

Netflix

Right now, there are no James Bond movies on Netflix. But that can change at any time!
