TikTok Dad’s Viral Puns Belong In A Dad Joke Hall-Of-Fame

While we’re not exactly sure where dad humor came from, culturally or comically, it sure seems like breaking out the puns is part of the mainstream-dad starter pack. The joy some dads get when they drop a good pun that has their whole family rolling their eyes seems like oxygen to them. It’s hilarious.
But some have taken their comedic prowess one step further — like this one TikTok dad and his pun gems that belong in a dad joke hall-of-fame.
Meet Dave Ogleton, aka FitDadCEO. Dave is a dad of six, and he has gone viral on TikTok with a hilarious “No Dummy” joke series that is full of the funniest puns we’ve heard in a while. Each of the videos starts with a recap of a question he asked one of his kids. After sharing the kid’s answer, dad replies, “No, dummy,” and then drops the best eye-roll-inducing puns that give us a chuckle every time.
“I said to my son, what’s the difference between the Black Eyed Peas and chickpeas?” Dave says, looking into the camera. “He said, well, one is a group of people and the other one’s food…” the dad continues.
“I said No, Dummy,” he responds as the music intensifies. “The Black Eyed Peas can sing you a tune; chickpeas can only hummus one.”
