America's Dad once again lived up to his reputation.

Tom Hanks has once again taken on his duties as America’s Dad in the most delightful way possible, as the two-time Oscar-winner crashed a wedding to take a couple of photos with the brides last week.

The wedding of Diciembre and Tashia Farries was taking place at Santa Monica Beach in California and the 65-year-old actor noticed the ceremony from afar when he decided to come over and offer his congratulations. As Hanks approached the couple, someone shouted that it was Sheriff Woody, referencing his iconic voice acting in the Toy Story franchise.

“He said, ‘I saw the ceremony from back there and it had to be one of the most beautiful ceremonies that I’ve ever seen,'” Tashia said on The Today Show.

Hanks has made a habit of infrequently popping up at weddings despite not receiving an invitation, as he also showed up at a wedding in Central Park and took a photo with the newlyweds. Usually, wedding crashing is considered a faux pas but when you’re Tom Hanks, those types of rules don’t apply.

According to Tashia, Hanks more than lived up to his reputation, offering some kind words to the happy couple, as well as some advice.

“He said he noticed the ceremony and gave us many compliments and just said we looked beautiful,” Tashia said. “He gave us love advice and was just so positive and humble.”

Hanks is more than qualified to give some helpful insight into marriage, as he has been with his wife Rita Wilson for over three decades. In May, the two celebrated 33 years of marriage, with Wilson sharing a touching post on Instagram making it clear the two remain very much in love.

“33 years of marriage to my BFF, my lover, my man. Love wins,” the 64-year-old actress wrote as the caption.
