You Can Rent the ‘Home Alone’ House on Airbnb, You Filthy Animals

And you don't even have to make your family disappear.

Much like Seinfeld‘s Monk’s Diner or The Sopranos‘ Satriale’s Pork Store, the titular home in Home Alone feels as much like a character as Kevin or the Wet Bandits. And this holiday season, you can live out your dream of spending a night in the McCallister home for a surprisingly low rate. Here’s how.

Kevin’s brother Buzz is hosting the house on Airbnb, with the promise that for just $25 a night, you can have “a cozy holiday scene with twinkling lights and a perfectly trimmed tree awaits you at the McCallister ‘castle.'”

“This holiday season, we’re playing by my little bro’s rules, so feel free to eat junk food, watch rubbish on TV, borrow my dad’s aftershave and choose your own adventure with a legendary battle plan as a guide,” Buzz wrote in the official listing. “Just stay out of my room, okay?”

To ensure that you unleash your inner eight-year-old, there will also be Chicago-style pizza and “a candlelit dinner of microwavable Kraft Macaroni & Cheese.” Plus, you get a LEGO Ideas Home Alone set as neat souvenir to take home with you.

The booking will become available on December 7 but only one lucky “crew of mischief makers” will actually get to stay at the house on December 12. You can send your requests to Airbnb, with up to four guests allowed to take the trip. It’s not entirely clear how the winner will be chosen but if it turns out to be you, get ready to visit one of the most iconic houses in all of cinema.

If all of this wasn’t enough to get you on board, you should also know it’s for a good cause, as Airbnb will be giving a one-time donation to La Rabida Children’s Hospital in Chicago. You can see the full listing here.
