Video: Enjoy These Grown Men Racing Downhill In Tiny Toy Cars
It's dumb in the best way possible.
As a dad, you’re no stranger to danger. Fatherhood has brought you your fair share of injuries, and you know there is only more pain waiting for you as your kid gets older (Fingers crossed you never feel the unspeakable agony of stepping on a LEGO). Still, if you are looking to add a little more risk to your life, then you might want to pencil in a trip to Saint Jo, Texas, this September to join the madness of Rednecks With Paychecks.

What is Rednecks With Paychecks? It’s a 4-day festival of mud racing. And as the video below shows, the main event is the glory of watching grown-ass adults race furiously down a muddy hill in Barbie Jeeps meant for 5-year-olds.
If the whole thing sounds a bit insane, that’s because it absolutely is. And that’s half the fun. Similar to the hilarious hi-jinks of the Jackass crew, there is something beautiful about watching a man in a pink Hello Kitty car try to outrun a dude wearing what looks like the world’s worst bear costume.
The Rednecks With Paychecks “Off-Road Fall Mudcrawl” runs from September 14-17, and also features food and live music. Tickets can be bought online, and if you want to cancel your Hawaiian vacation and make a real family trip out of it, you can even camp on the festival grounds ⏤ just don’t forget to bring your own tent.
