Watch Kelsey Grammer Voice Abe Lincoln in 'The Ghost and Molly McGee' Clip

by Blake Harper

If you can’t wait for the upcoming Frasier reboot to get your fill of Kelsey Grammer, you can get a little taste of his talent in an episode of the new Disney show The Ghost and Molly McGee later this month.

In the clip, Scratch (voiced by Dana Snyder) is trying to track down our former President to help him out after he gave Molly (Ashly Burch) some false information about Lincoln for her upcoming presentation in class. After being interrupted while telling a hilarious story about how he only wore his signature stovepipe hat because of a bad hair day, Lincoln begins cooly playing “The Star Spangled Banner” on the piano.

But Honest Abe loses his composure when the grumpy ghost reveals his deception, telling Scratch that “I never encourage deceit and falsehood. Grammer’s legendary voice fits Lincoln perfectly (even though, in reality, the 16th President actually had a high voice) and he brings his iconic mix of gravitas and humor.

“Not So Honest Abe” won’t air until October 23 but you can watch the first two episodes of The Ghost and Molly McGee on Disney+ now.
