What would you do if someone stole your daughter’s kitty cat bracelet? The next dad-punching movie of 2021 might help some of us work out our dad-rage. Bob Odenkirk — Saul from Breaking Bad or Bob from Mr. Show, depending on our age — is set to go full-John Wick in his new film, Nobody. Apparently, Keanu Reeves was too busy making Matrix 4, so David Leitch, who produced and co-directed the original John Wick, hired Bob Odenkirk for his John Wick-esque actioner. For dads who love dad-movies about dads kicking ass, Nobody is clearly designed to make us love it.

In the new trailer, Odenkirk stars as Hutch Mansell, the titular nobody, a seemingly average dad who turns out to have a secret past, “a long-dormant piece of me that so badly wants out.” It seems he once worked for some very dangerous people as an auditor, “the last guy anyone wants to see at their door.” Now, after a home invasion that’s got family, friends and the cops questioning his toughness, Hutch releases his inner Kraken, going beast-mode on some tough guys (“I’m gonna fuck you up”) and dealing with some old debts involving a Russian mobster.

Just how John Wick-ish is Nobody? Rather than kill the hero’s dog, the baddies steal Hutch’s daughter’s kitty cat bracelet, which prompts this momentous line: “Give me the goddamn kitty cat bracelet!” Anyway, check out the trailer for the film, which will open in theaters on February 26, 2021. In addition to Odenkirk, the cast includes Connie Nielsen, RZA, Aleksei Serebryakov, and Christopher Lloyd.

Nobody is scheduled for theatrical release on February 26, 2021.
