The WandaVision “Agatha All Along” Trap Remix Slaps — Listen Here

The 'WandaVision' twist has inspired the best song of 2021.

Marvel/Disney+

WandaVision spoilers coming at you! In the final moments of WandaVision episode 7, we learned  Agnes, Wanda’s annoying neighbor played by Kathryn Hahn, was actually Agatha Harkness, a witch who has been part of the Marvel Comics universe since the 1970s.

The show did not reveal Agatha’s masterplan or even her general intentions but we did a little insight via a totally awesome theme song for the character, titled “Agatha All Along.” The catchy tune does a fun bit of meta-storytelling (not surprising in an episode called “Breaking the Fourth Wall”), revealing that Agatha is the one who has been in control the whole time, not Wanda. It even recontextualizes several key moments from the show’s previous six episodes, including Pietro’s shocking arrival, to give a glimpse into how much Agatha has actually been pulling strings behind the scenes.

The song immediately became a hit online and before long, it was even being remixed by fans who re-imagined the theme song into a variety of different genres. One remix that stood above the rest was Leland Philpot’s trap/hip version, which made “Agatha All Along” sound like a club hit rather than a purposefully-corny sitcom theme. Honestly, this fire track already feels like the frontrunner for Song of the Summer, despite the fact that we are still in February.

The remix quickly went viral on Twitter, with his video getting more than 375,000 views in just a few days. Philpot then took to Tik-Tok, where he asked his followers to come up with a dance challenge for his “Agatha All Along” remix, as he admitted that he is not much of a dancer. So if you are on Tik-Tok, don’t be shocked if you see people start busting out their best moves to Philpot’s track, as WandaVision has truly managed to take over every corner of the world wide web.

WandaVision has two episodes left. Here’s when those drop on Disney+.
