As Donald Trump wraps up his first year in office, public opinion remains divided over whether or not he’s keeping his promise to “make America great again.” And with the anniversary of Trump’s inauguration set for this weekend, Jimmy Kimmel decided that instead of asking current voters their thoughts on the President, he would ask future voters by interviewing kids about the president’s first year in office. The varied responses he received provided unique insight into what exactly constitutes a successful Presidency.

Children, as always, are wise beyond their years. The first interviewed said he thought Trump was doing a great job as President because he “saved the world”; several others voiced their disapproval of the President, saying that he doesn’t seem smart and has not done a good job as Commander-in-Chief; yet another kid said that while he does not think Trump is doing a good job as President, he admittedly thinks his hair is pretty cool. While many of the kids were understandably uninformed about the state of American politics, a few offered up genuine knowledge and analysis of the impact Trump has had on the modern political climate. One boy said he wished Trump would stop insulting other countries leaders, especially Kim Jong-Un, as he does not want America to get bombed because of a one-sided Twitter feud.

To keep things light, Kimmel asked each of the kids to do their best imitation of the President after sharing their thoughts. Each kid hilariously nailed Trump’s particular mannerisms, including his pouted lips and distinct way of saying “huge” and “China.” But the best imitation of all came from a little girl who simply yelled: “You’re fired!” and then burst out laughing. Well done, kid.
