Tom Holland Sought Revenge on His Brother in the Most 'Spider-Man' Way Possible

by Blake Harper

The relationship between brothers is complex and full of contradictions. On the one hand, there is nobody you love and can count on quite like your brother. They’re a friend for life who has been with you since the beginning. On the other hand, there is nobody on earth you like to mess with and torture more than your brother.

In a recent interview on The Graham Norton Show, Tom Holland shared a hilarious story about his delight in his brother Harry’s suffering. Tom told a story about a particularly tough day of filming during Spider-Man: No Way Home where he had to spend all day hanging upside down. He was complaining to his brother about it but, unsurprisingly, the A-list millionaire did not receive a ton of sympathy from Harry.

“Mate, you’re Spider-Man,” Harry told him. “Suck it up and get on with it. You’ll be fine.”

But Tom ended up getting revenge on his brother when the movie needed someone to play a robber for a day. Tom volunteered Harry, who ended up hanging upside down all day and told his brother that he now understood what Tom went through.

“He said, ‘mate, it was really tough but I was just really excited about being in a Spider-Man movie,'” Tom explained.

Sounds like a happy ending but things took a hysterically dark turn when Tom revealed that after all that, Harry’s scene wouldn’t even be appearing in the film.

“The icing on the cake and I don’t think he actually knows this,” Tom told Graham. “We saw the film the other day and they’ve cut the scene. It’s not in the film.”

Harsh? Absolutely but that’s just the way it is between brothers. As much as you celebrate each other in your triumphs, you laugh at each other during your failures.
