Last month, the gang on Sesame Street joined together with CNN journalists Dr. Sanjay Gupta and Erica Hill to host “The ABC’s of Covid-19: A CNN/Sesame Street Town Hall for Kids and Parents.” The town hall in April had Elmo, Grover, Abby Cadabby, and others to help explain the pandemic and coronavirus in a kid-appropriate and friendly way. Now, after a smash hit of the special, which also featured superstars like Anne Hathaway and Lin Manuel Miranda, the Sesame Street gang is teaming up again on Sunday, May 30 at 10 a.m. ET to host another ABC’s of Covid-19 town hall.

This week’s initiative — which will cover how to stay safe in the summer months, the anxieties of going back to school, and how to manage big feelings — will also be hosted by Dr. Gupta and Erica Hill, and will feature appearances from Big Bird, Elmo, and Abby Cadabby. The special will also help benefit the Sesame Workshop’s “Caring for Each Other” initiative, a program that provides free resources to parents and families in need. Viewers can help fund the initiative by texting SESAME to 51555 during the broadcast.

This week’s initiative will be featured on CNN.com to subscribers to the news channel, and will also be available on CNNgo (or CNN.com/go if you’re on your laptop.) The special will also be available on demand.

The second “The ABC’s of Covid-19: A Cnn/Sesame Street Town Hall for Kids and Parents,” will air on CNN.com on Saturday, May 30th, 10 a.m. ET.
