Mark Wahlberg’s Family is Tired of His Shirtless Videos

“Babe, stop doing videos with your shirt off."

This week, Mark Wahlberg learned a tough lesson about fatherhood: If you post too many shirtless pictures and videos online, your family is obligated to mock you for it. The 46-year-old actor is about to start shooting a reboot of The Six Billion Dollar Man and had to get into top physical shape for the role. Naturally, he’s been working out a lot. He’s also been drinking a ton of ‘meat shakes’ to help get as ripped as possible and posting videos of himself with said favorite protein drinks. The big problem: he keeps forgetting to wear a shirt when filming.

It wasn’t until this week, however, that his family had enough and orchestrated a mild intervention. At the end of a video in which he explains his muscle-building diet strategies before flexing his bicep to show off, his family voiced their disapproval of his inability to wear a shirt on camera.

“Babe, stop doing videos with your shirt off,” his wife, Rhea, said off-camera at the very end of the video.

The camera then turned to Ella, Wahlberg’s eight-year-old daughter, who agreed with her mom’s plea for her dear old dad to cut down on the thirst trapping and put on a shirt every once in a while.

Fortunately, Wahlberg took the constructive criticism in stride and even posted the video on his Instagram, where it has been viewed more than three million times in just five days. He understands: no matter how famous or jacked he gets, he’ll never be above getting mercilessly roasted by his kids.
