As the strain on healthcare continues during the COVID-19 pandemic, companies are stepping up to help the frontline healthcare workers. Every little bit helps to keep the spread of the virus low and to keep the morale and health of the workers in the front line as best as it can me. Krispy Kreme is the latest to offer what they can to support the vital work these people are doing.

Krispy Kreme has announced its plans to give away free donuts to help support and feed the healthcare staff who are working around the clock. “To share joy among the millions in the medical community, and to show our gratitude for all they are doing, beginning Monday, March 30–National Doctors’ Day–and on every subsequent Monday through National Nurses Week (May 6-12), Krispy Kreme will provide all healthcare workers free dozens of our iconic Original Glazed® Doughnuts,” according to a press release.

The donut company has made it simple for the medical workers to access their free donuts, too. Healthcare workers just have to hit up a Krispy Kreme drive-thru, let them know what they’d like to order and show their employer badge.

It’s a really kind gesture from the company, and they’re offering a little something for all customers, too. Starting Saturday, March 28 and running every Saturday after, Krispy Kreme is offering a free dozen Original Glazed Doughnuts for every pick-up, drive-thru, or delivery order of full-price dozen of the Original Glazed Doughnuts. They’re calling this new treat the “Be Sweet Dozen” deal.

Each free dozen will include a smiley-face doughnut that the company is encouraging guests to share with their loved ones to brighten their day. Don’t worry, though, the company’s press release ensures the doughnuts are securely sealed and bagged individually.
