Hotels are full of problems: overpriced minibars, uncomfortable beds, and lackluster customer service. But one dad had a uniquely disappointing experience at a DoubleTree by Hilton in Sacramento when it hosted a 1,000-person “sex-abration” that was thrown by a local sex club.

The dad was so angry that he ended up talking about his experience with a local news station. Before you go labeling the dad a grumpy prude, he says his issues has less to do with the orgy-esque event and more to do with the fact that the hotel gave him no warning.

“People that are spending good money to stay at the Hilton should be aware of what’s going on under their nose, especially if they have families,” the anonymous dad told KTXL.

Of course, as a dad, he couldn’t resist adding a little bit of judgment when talking about his fellow guests.

“And, you know, there’s a hot tub there, and there’s crazies in the hot tub,” he added.

Ultimately, he was just extremely upset that he was not told in advance that an extremely not kid-friendly event was happening while he was not given a heads up. And it didn’t help that apparently he was refused a refund.

“I’m at the point where I don’t even want to bring my family into that environment,” he said. “I think it’s totally wrong that the Hilton is putting on something like this.”

The Hilton did respond to the angry anonymous dad but it’s unclear if they are actually doing anything about his less-than-stellar experience.

“We take the comfort and privacy of all of our guests very seriously,” DoubleTree spokesman Royce Pollard said in a statement. “As with any large event the utmost care is taken to assure there is no disruption to other guests, including additional security. With that being said we understand if a guest feels they would like to cancel their reservation and will, of course, accommodate them to the best of our ability.”
