Kids can be resourceful. They’ll turn a remote control into a rocket ship for their toys, or a box into a monster truck. There are no limitations to their minds. So when a child in Japan got sick of waiting for mom and dad to buy him an all-new Nintendo Switch, he decided to create his own video game console out of cardboard.

Uploaded by Twitter user “Ama-chan“, her little brother used his crafting skills to fashion a Switch with impressive interlocking Joy-Cons, a tiny cardboard video game cartridge, and the dock station to port the handheld device to a television. Let’s hope after he gets his well-deserved console, his parents will start working on their son’s future in engineering.
