When it comes to flinging water balloons, your arm is fine, just fine. But, then again, why settle for the limits of the human body when you can use one of these launchers to send the H20-filled projectiles sailing even further? During this week’s Fatherly “Toy Reviews,” our editor-at-large, Joshua David Stein, tests the Bunch O Balloons Slingshot by the New Zealand company Zuru.

What’s cool about the Bunch O Balloons Slingshot? First, it can fling balloons up to 100 feet (30 meters) and does so powerfully. Second, those linked water balloons that come with the toy — you can fill up all at once in 60 seconds and they look like tethered-together alien eggs. And the best part? The balloons are self-sealing. For a lot of parents, it’s very time-consuming filling up and tying the balloons for their kids; but this takes care of that.

It’s a lot of fun — but best fired at things that are a very long distance away or used for target practice against non-humans. While it’s intended for ages 6 and up, it packs a serious punch and can do damage from close range. You may want to reconsider if your kids are on the younger side and you’re thinking of purchasing one.

Overall, the Bunch O Balloons Slingshot is a phenomenal flinger and is pretty damn fun to use. So, if you feel like upgrading your aquatic arsenal, give it a try.
