Substitute Teacher Accused of Filming Porn Inside High School Classroom
Reports say that the teacher filmed herself inside a classroom and a work room.
A substitute teacher in El Campo, Texas has been fired after allegedly filming pornographic videos inside the high school where she worked. An official of El Campo Independent School District (ISD) confirmed to ABC13 Eyewitness News that the female employee was let go due to an “improper criminal incident” that occurred at El Campo High School last month – while classes were allegedly still in session. (Though this detail has not been confirmed)
The same school official said that the district received a tip regarding the substitute and investigated the situation. The teacher allegedly filmed pornographic videos of herself inside a classroom and a workroom, though no students or other staff were involved. She was immediately fired from her position, and the ISD is working to ban her from the school’s campus.
The substitute’s name has not been released, but at the time of the incident, she had been an employee of the school for three months. Eyewitness News also reports that the school district used the state system to vet her before hiring.
Brhe Barry, a reporter from Eyewitness News covering the story, wrote on her Twitter page that the school district is seeking legal counsel with potential charges of public lewdness.
El Campo ISD posted the following statement on their Facebook page in response to the incident:
“The District is aware that an improper criminal incident involving a substitute teacher occurred at ECHS. The incident involved a singular substitute teacher and no student or other district staff were involved. The district has terminated the substitute’s employment and is seeking legal advice on this specific incident. The district continues to hold the safety and well being of our students and staff as our top priority.”
