Actress Kristen Bell has always been extraordinarily open about her sex life, her thoughts on motherhood and even her children’s arts-and-crafts projects. Bell is refreshingly vocal and her honesty has gotten her a big following, so much so that she now has her own web series called “Momsplaining with Kristen Bell” on Ellen DeGeneres’s network. In an interview on WTF with Marc Maron on Monday, Bell told Maron that she and her husband, Dax Shepard, have talked about the birds and the bees with her daughters Lincoln, who is five years old, and Delta, who is three years old.

“They’ve asked about sex before and Dax says, ‘Well, there’s a penis, there’s a vagina and there’s an ovum and there’s ejaculate,’” Bell explained to Maron. “And they’re like, ‘Can I have some juice?!’ They’re just off of it. They don’t care.”

The scientific words might be throwing her daughters off for now, so Bell knows that she’s going to have this sex talk multiple times and she’s ready for it.

“Sex is wonderful,” Bell said. “I want my kids to have sex. I want them to have good, healthy, positive, happy, wild sex.”

For fans of The Good Place actress, this might not come as a total surprise. Bell has talked about her sex life in many interviews and even in so much detail that her husband has even been confronted with some stories about their sex life in public.

In another recent interview, Bell revealed her secret to keeping sex alive in a marriage with children. “Sometimes, we’ll look at each other and we’re like, ‘We need some intimacy and sex, like, right now,’” Bell said in an interview with InStyle in July. “We’re just very honest about it.”

Clearly, Bell is rapidly becoming the most iconoclastic and refreshingly honest celebrity parent in America.
