Rachel Rothman is Director of the Engineering Lab at Good Housekeeping Labs. Having studied mechanical engineering, applied mechanics and mathematics at the University of Pennsylvania, her role at Good Housekeeping is to evaluate products that come through the Consumer Electronics and Engineering Department for editorial consideration, advertising clearance and GH Seal eligibility. Rothman has tested hundreds of products including toys for GHRI’s annual Toy Awards, crossovers with Car and Driver and Samsung’s gesture controlled TV.
