Chances are, your kid is a dirt-encrusted, messy creature who can’t keep crumbs in their mouth or liquid in their glass. That’s why a dirt-devouring, always-patrolling robot vacuum is an ideal home companion. Only problem: other than at they secretly map your house and sell the data ⏤ is that the autonomous gadgets don’t come cheap. At least the good ones don’t. Which is why right now you might want to scoop up the 5-star model Eufy RobotVac 11, which has been marked down in price from $500 to $220.

Despite the fact that its name sounds like a thoughtlessly titled character in an old British children’s book, the Eufy RoboVac 11 is packed with tech. It’s designed for both hardwood and thin carpet (no shag, please), boasts a slim 3.1-inch profile that easily glides under furniture, and gets 1.5-hours of cleaning on a single charge. The Lithium-Ion battery also self-juices when the tank gets low. The Eufy has a three-point cleaning system (one rolling brush, two side brushes) and three cleaning modes ⏤ Edge, Spot, and Max for hard to clean spots. Naturally, it uses infrared sensors to not run over the cat as well as drop-sensing tech that allows it to climb onto rugs and avoid pulling a Thelma and Louise off the top step. It also comes with a remote control and a one-year warranty.

Out of 2,012 reviews on Amazon, the Eufy RoboVac11 has four and a half stars. “Great alternative to a stand-up vacuum. Cleans each room that I put it in very well in an hour or two,” wrote one reviewer. “We. Fricken. Love. This little dust, dirt, dog-hair, underwear, sock, phone charging cable gobbling little robot vacuum. It’s helped us be more conscious of leaving things lying around on the floor, helping us form better habits. It has made our floors spotless, and our lives easier,” wrote another. It was also the runner-up on The Sweet Home’s list of Best Robot Vacs. Not bad, Eufy.

Assuming you’d rather not introduce robots into the house and/or are simply looking to upgrade your Swiffer, that’s totally fine ⏤ autonomous bots aren’t for everybody. But you’re still in luck: Amazon is also running a one-day sale on certified refurbished models of Dyson’s Ball Animal Upright Vacuum. Normally sold for $299, they’re $100 until the end of the day. Suck yeah!
