William Shatner officially became the oldest person to ever to go to space this morning, as the 90-year-old was a passenger on Blue Origin’s latest successful flight into the cosmos. And you can see Captain Kirk’s entire journey to the Final Frontier right now.

The launch was out of Blue Origin’s spaceport in Van Horn, Texas at around 10:50 AM EST this morning, reaching altitudes of more than 300,000 feet and briefly experiencing the effects of zero gravity.

The entire flight is available to watch on Blue Origin’s YouTube channel, as they live-streamed the entire thing. Be warned, the video is over three hours long but if you just want to see the actual launch and landing (which lasts about 11 minutes), you can just skip to about 2:30:00 into the video to see it.

After successfully touching back down on planet earth, Shatner and the other passengers were greeted by Jeff Bezos (who founded Blue Origin) who said, “Hello astronauts, welcome to Earth!” Shatner was visibly emotional after boldly going where no 90-year-old had gone before and thanked Bezos for giving him the opportunity to have life imitate art.

“What you have given me is the most profound experience I can imagine,” Shatner told Bezos. “It hasn’t got anything to do with the little green men and the blue orb. It has to do with the enormity and the quickness and the suddenness of life and death.”

Shatner admitted he was afraid before the voyage but afterward, his emotions were nothing but positive and he spoke about how much going to space really meant to him.

“I’m so filled with emotion about what just happened,” the Star Trek actor explained. “It’s extraordinary, extraordinary. I hope I can maintain what I feel now. I don’t want to lose it. It’s so much larger than me and life.”
