Tips And Tricks For Getting Your Kid Involved In The Kitchen

It’s not too early to get your kid comfortable in kitchen. They’re not going to be of much use in preparing an actual meal, but you can get them involved in the process in ways that might inspire an interest in cooking as they get older. Let them mix pretend salads or batters in small bowls alongside you; buy a kid-friendly knife and give them some leafy greens to saw away at, more than anything, just have them in the kitchen when you are. If nothing else, it will create an appreciation for the ritual of cooking and – best case scenario – they’ll be feeding you better than you can feed yourself when they get older.
