How to Stream the Oscar Nominees Before Sunday’s Academy Awards

You can watch most of last year's best films from the comfort of your couch.

The Oscars are on Sunday, which means there’s precious little time to catch up on the nominees before the statues are handed out. Below is a guide to where you can find the movies nominated in at least one of these major categories: Best Picture, Best Director, the two screenplay categories, and the four acting awards online. Because making it down to the local multiplex this week requires time, energy, and a babysitter that you just might not have.

Where movies are available to rent, that price is listed; where they are only available for purchase, that price is listed. Sadly, not all titles are available to stream online at the moment, but all are at least available for preorder. We also chose to focus on Netflix, Amazon Prime, and YouTube, three of the most popular streaming services, but many of these titles are available elsewhere too. 4K versions of these films are often also available at a slightly higher price.

It's impossible. They don't listen to me.
