Kid Wins Coachella by Rapping Along to Drake With Odell Beckham Jr.

Weekend One of Coachella has come and gone, and the festival’s first go-round was filled with the usual Smörgåsbord of flower crowns, celebrity sightings, and hallucinogens. The Indio, California-based festival isn’t the most kid-friendly, but that didn’t stop a kid named Max from winning the weekend by laying down his own version of Migos’ hit song “Bad and Boujee” with some help from Giants’ superstar wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr.

It all went down on day two when Migos made a special appearance during Future’s set. Max, perched on his father’s shoulders and obviously psyched to see the rapper, started dropping an impassioned rendition of Migos’ hit “Bad and Boujee.” Later, Max and his incredibly supportive dad took it to the next level once Drake took the stage. Max sang along to “Fake Love” with none other than Odell Beckham Jr. who happened to be standing beside him and is clearly impressed with the young kid’s skills.

Videos of Max and OBJ living it up started surfacing online, and Max quickly became an internet folk hero. And while Max certainly deserves the praise, let’s not forget to give credit to Max’s dad, the man who dutifully literally lifted his son up and propelled him to Coachella glory.
