Father’s Day has come and gone. But it lives on in the abundance of tacky neckties, grill brushes, golf clubs, and the seemingly endless stream of posts on social media. Because what national holiday would be complete without an outpouring of sepia-toned photos and sappy posts, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter were flooded with kids showing their love for their dad, dads showing love for their kids, and moms showing love for their husbands’ love for their kids. Of course, rock stars, A-listers, former presidents, and all-pro athletes took the time to celebrate fatherhood and their families, too. And because so many of them just nailed the sentiment — or got silly with their celebrations we felt the need to share some of the best. Here, then, are 12 posts about proud pater familiae.
