Netflix has quite an impressive offering for the last month of the 2018. This streaming giant knows very well that kids are starting to wind down at school. Winter break is just on the horizon, and kids are pumped to spend their time off relaxing and catching up on Netflix, eating all of the holiday treats and just hanging out with friends and family. On the bleakest and darkest of these winter days, they can curl up and watch family comedies, superhero adventures or even Guillermo del Toro’s new sci-fi extravaganza. There’s something for everyone, from children to teens, in December. You’ll even want to watch some of these series, so you might as well make it a great family bonding moment and binge-watch a TV series together. Try to work in a day to just lay around with your kids—even though it’s hard during the holidays. Your errands can probably wait a day, after all.
DJ, Steph, Kimmy, Steve and the rest of the Tanner-Fullers return for a fourth season of Fuller House. The show picks up where it left off. It’ll be like watching Full House all over again.
The fourth season of Fuller House comes to Netflix December 14.
It’s the final season of Voltron Legendary Fighter! Your kids has probably been looking forward to this last season. The show focuses five fighters and their robots who all join forces to form a giant robot lion named—you guessed it—Voltron.
The eighth season of Voltron Legendary Fighter is on Netflix December 14.
The highly anticipated second chapter of Guillermo Del Toro’s Tales of Arcadia drops a few days before Christmas, so don’t expect to see your children until they’re done watching it. It’s set in his Trollhunters universe, but follows a pair of teenage royals who escaped with their bodyguard from their home planet.

Netflix and the BBC are adapting Richard Adams’s beloved children’s book. The book follows a group of adorable bunnies as they leave their homeland and go in search of a new one. Peter Capaldi John Boyega, James McAvoy, Nicholas Hoult, Ben Kingsley, Gemma Arterton, and Olivia Colman are voicing these rabbits, and Sam Smith is singing the theme song. This limited series is rated PG, but is supposedly emotionally devastating.
