The holiday season is officially upon us. Netflix is more than prepared even if you don’t feel that way at all about the looming festivities. For the holidays, the streaming behemoth has given viewers Christmas specials and new movies that the whole family can enjoy. There are some pretty great gifts in this list. There are some animated classics that you might have missed in theaters, because your kids were too young—or they didn’t exist yet. There’s some dark adventures, heartwarming holiday specials and caped crusaders fighting to save the universe. It really just depends what you or your kids are in the mood for. It’s cold outside, so just cite the weather as an excuse to avoid some of your boring obligations and have a family film night instead. Heat up some hot cocoa, break into the holiday cookies, maybe even light a fire in the fireplaces (if you have one) and get all cozy while streaming a movie.
