The Global Moms Relay Is The Mother’s Day Gift That Keeps On Giving

The following was produced in partnership with our friends at Johnson & Johnson.

You’re an upstanding member of society and want to contribute to the organizations working to improve circumstances for women and kids around the world. You’re also a parent, and a mindbogglingly large amount of your bandwidth is sucked up every day by a small person who needs you to clean the snot off of something. So, Johnson & Johnson and the United Nations Foundation (UNF) are making it easier than ever to do your part with its Global Moms Relay. The best part is, you don’t have to run anywhere — or even be a mom — to participate.

The Relay brings together celebrities, community leaders, experts, and parents who share personal stories about what they wish for children around the world — people like Kristen Bell, Lauren and Jenna Bush, Bryan Cranston, and Her Majesty Queen Rania Of Jordan. They have the hard part; all you have to do is like, share, retweet, or comment on their posts, and Johnson & Johnson will donate $1 — up to $350,000 — to one of 5 nonprofits working to improve access to healthcare and increase opportunities for women and kids everywhere. If you can’t get behind one of these organizations, you might have a problem with your sense of direction:

If you have enough energy to check your phone, you have enough energy to help fund these groups. So, start sharing and retweeting now — it will seriously boost your Mother’s Day street cred.
