When Jason Hemperly decided to get a vasectomy, his wife Kimberly did what any good wife would do: She threw him a hilarious “balls voyage” party to show her support for his decision to go under the knife. Kimberly went all out planning and throwing the party, making sure every detail was related to vasectomies in some way, even dress code. She even took a picture of her husband wearing a t-shirt memorably bearing the slogan, ‘Time to Retire the Swim Team’ while holding their kids, who were wearing ‘Swim Team Survivor’ shirts.

Jason made the choice to get a vasectomy after his wife underwent her second C-section. The couple knew that they did not want any more kids and so Jason decided to pull the trigger and make sure that no surprise kids would be coming their way.

On Sunday, Kimberly posted photos of the “balls voyage” party on Facebook and was shocked to see the post quickly go viral. In under a week, the post has been shared 44,000 times, with parents and nonparents alike applauding this hilarious couple for making Jason’s vasectomy an outrageous celebration. Given the success of this party, perhaps we will all be attending our fair share of balls voyage parties in the future.
