Kanye isn’t the only talented performer in the Kardashian-West family. At a church service on Sunday, daughter North West showed off her impressive singing skills during a performance with her dad’s gospel choir.
In a video posted to mom Kim Kardashian’s Instagram story, the five-year-old belts out a rendition of “As If” by Stevie Wonder as Kanye looks on proudly. At one point, North even lifts the microphone stand and brings it further out in front so she’s closer to her adoring audience.
“Look at her moving to the front,” the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star, 38, captioned the clip, along with a string of star emojis.
It isn’t the first time North’s singing has been caught on camera. Last June, Kanye shared a heartwarming video of the then-four-year-old rapping along to his song “No Mistakes.” Kim has also noted that North prefers her dad’s older music. When asked what her favorite song is, the young West told Interview Magazine, “My daddy’s song ‘Amazing.’ So amazing!”
And fans are loving the toddler’s musical talent. Some believe she’ll follow in her famous father’s footsteps, with one user writing, “North West Produced by Kanye West in 2023. I’m calling it.”
Regardless of what the future holds for North, who will soon welcome a third sibling to her family, her relationship with her dad is a special one. A source recently told People, “You should see [Kanye] when he gets around the kids; he lights up. He smiles, he plays with them, he is genuinely excited to be around them and they respond the same way to him.”
