There’s almost nothing cuter than little kids playing sports. Tiny cleats, excited squeals, and pure, unadulterated enjoyment of the game are enough to bring a smile to anyone’s face. But when the kids involved have dads who are famous athletes, it’s a whole other level of heartwarming. A Twitter video shared by Oakland Raiders wide receiver Antonio Brown proves that his son is following in his dad’s legendary footsteps. And also that he’s super freaking adorable.
In the eight-second clip, Brown’s four-year-old son Ali runs through drills he’s set up for himself, according to Brown’s caption. Even better? Ali is practicing alongside the son of Raiders quarterback, Derek Carr. “My son Ali only 4 years old setting up his own drills running through em!” Brown writes alongside the sweet clip of Ali running through a line of cones, then catching the ball thrown to him by Carr’s son. “Baby Decker @derekcarrqb son just dropping dimes like his dad! What a blessing to see inspire the youth they watch and learn from our every move.”
Fans are loving the post and also see bright futures ahead for the young boys. “That killer footwork,” one user replied. “Much respect to the little man.” “Super Bowl connection 2040?” wrote another. Even those who aren’t fans of Brown can respect his parenting skills. “Not a huge fan of you AB, but your son is pretty fricken adorable,” one Twitter user replied. “Looks like you’re a good father and I can respect that. Keep it up man.”
