This Kid’s Slo-Mo Jump Onto An Ice-Covered Trampoline Is Hypnotizing

It's like a scene out of 'Inception.'

Boredom is a powerful tool. It forces kids to use their creativity to come up with new ways to entertain themselves, like inventing a new game, learning a skill, or just, you know, thinking. Or if you’re the pre-teen duo in this video, you use the opportunity to jump on an ice-covered trampoline and film it in slow motion. It’s an early front-runner for the coolest video of 2018.

In the video, the boys waste no time getting into the action as the jumper immediately leaps from an off-frame ledge  onto the trampoline. The slow motion might seem like a bit much at first but the choice makes complete sense once the young jumper hits the ice, cracking the sheet and sending shards flying up into the air. The result is an Inception-esque sequence of floating debris as he bounces up and down. It’s strangely hypnotizing and you may find yourself watching it 10-15 times in a row.
