This Tool Finds All The Best Black Friday And Cyber Monday Deals

The origin of Black Friday dates back to 50s in Philadelphia, and refers to the chaos that ensued the day after Thanksgiving due to the Army-Navy football game. It was not reframed as a retail holiday until the 80s, which was supposed to put a positive spin on the cursed day. Instead it turned shopping into something even more dangerous that militarized football. In a more practical attempt to brighten the historically bleak day, the website at least saves you some time (which equals money), by showing where you can find what bargains ahead of time.

Of course, this does not include last minute specials and limited inventory items (damn you, Hatchimals!), but it does cover pretty much everything else for upwards of 150 retailers — Walmart, Target, Best Buy, Kohl’s, Macy’s, GameStop, Toys R Us, J.C. Penny, and Kmart, to name a few. Though a few retailers have yet to update their sites from 2015 deals, the site aggregates the mostly updated ones, allowing you to search deals online and in-store, zero in specific store locations, and download coupons for Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

If you’re more of Cyber Monday kind of guy, or simply a shopping-sans-pants kind of guy, consider combining these online deals along with the Chrome extension Honey, which automatically applies any online coupon code that you may have missed with your purchases. And it was invented by a dad, so you know it’s good. Now all you have to do is figure out what the hell to get everyone, because you work never ends. Consult with these tips for the kid and the missus, and if there’s time before Super Saturday, treat yourself too. Or just wait to be repaid handsomely in cookies and milk.
