If there are two things the internet loves, it’s videos of toddlers being adorable and videos of dogs being adorable. So when the two are brought together in the same video, it reaches a whole new level of adorably wholesome content. The latest example of this phenomenon is a video of a young boy playing fetch with his neighbor’s dog despite there being a fence between the two of them.
In the video, the toddler can be heard saying, “Just throw it to me please!” before he runs up to the ball and uses all his might to get it over the fence. The second the ball gets over the fence, you can see the dog is ready to go. The dog is able to immediately get a hold of the ball and puts it back over onto the kid’s side of the fence. The young boy then grabs the ball and once again throws it over the fence, allowing this wonderful cycle of fetch to continue.
This fence won’t stop my two-year-old from playing with his new best friend.Video was taken by: Erin Richter and my wife sent it to me.

Chad Nelson, the father of the two-year-old boy, uploaded the video onto Facebook, where it quickly went viral. In less than two days, the video has already received more than seven million views, along with 60,000 shares and over 235,000 shares. The video has also obviously been flooded with comments of people saying how adorable it is to watch a toddler and a dog bond over something as simple as throwing a ball and bringing it back. Let’s all hope this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.
