On top of being one of the most famous athletes in the world, Cristiano Ronaldo is easily one of the most prodigious and inarguably brilliant soccer players of all time. He’s also a proud dad. And after a recent friendly in which Portugal defeated Armenia 3-0, Rolando invited his son Cristiano Ronaldo Jr. onto the field to take a couple of shots at the empty goal. Turns out, the apple does not fall far from the tree. Not only did the 7-year-old kick the ball around, but his confident footwork earned him audible gasps from the crowd.
O apito final não quer dizer que acabe o espectáculo. Cristiano Ronaldo e Cristianinho: tal pai, tal filho.#ConquistaOSonho

In fact, Ronaldo Jr. has already earned the nickname “Cristianinho,” which is a funny play on the names Cristiano and Ronaldinho. For those not in the know, Ronaldinho Gaúcho is a former professional soccer player who led Brazil to two World Cup Championships. While guys like Cristiano Ronaldo and Argentina’s Lionel Messi are crazy good, Ronaldinho is easily in a league reserved for all time greats like Pelé and Diego Maradona. By the looks of it, Cristianinho is trying to live up to his nick-namesakes. And his dad is loving every minute of it.
