Prince George is one dapper-looking little dude. The five-year-old celebrated a birthday this past Sunday and Kensington Palace shared a new photo of the young prince grinning ear-to-ear on his big day. Naturally, the internet is going wild.
The royal family isn’t keen on sharing pictures of the royal kids, so seeing a photo of the prince not taken by the media is rare. And while it wasn’t actually shot on the boy’s birthday ⏤ but rather a few days earlier at his brother Louis’ christening ⏤ it’s all the same. He still looks quite smart.

The last time that Prince George made news for his appearance was on the day of his Uncle Harry’s wedding to American Actress Meghan Markle. Photographers caught George looking like a straight Bond villain in a long frilly all-black suit jacket, black pants with an ominous red stripe, and shiny leathers. The fact that he didn’t look all-too-pleased about wearing a black jacket in the sun probably added to his ominous appearance.
Even if he’d looked happy about the situation, the outfit was still a little menacing. Some Twitter users even drew comparisons between George and the notoriously ruthless character Cersei Lannister from Game of Thrones. There were also more than a few people who thought that George was channeling a bit of Draco Malfoy from the Harry Potter series.

Nonetheless, the new pictures paint young George in a less evil, far more happier, light. Then again, it’s hard not to be chipper on your birthday.
