New Paw Patrol Movie Jet To The Rescue Is Out Now

by Devan McGuinness

There are very few kids who don’t know what Paw Patrol is and aren’t immediately obsessed with at least one of the characters. For parents, it’s not the worst show ever to have to watch on repeat – literally could be worse (looking at you, Caillou) – but sometimes to saturation of those pups can be a bit much. If you feel that way about the dog-focused show, we have a warning for you: there’s a new Paw Patrol movie out, and your kid is likely going to watch it over and over again.

PAW Patrol: Jet To The Rescue is a straight to DVD release from Nickelodeon Home Entertainment and Paramount Home Entertainment and the viewer is up for quite the adventure. The pups find themselves in a sticky situation when the gem of Barkingburg, a levitation device, was stolen by Duke of Flappington. The Duke, of course, uses this gem for his own shenanigans, and it’s up to the pups to turn the chaos into order once again.

Rarely do things go in a straight line for the PAW Patrol, so in this new adventure, Skye, Everest, Tracker, Chase, Rubble, Zuma, and Marshall are outfitted with new personal jets that come with a sneaky stealth mode. Every little bit helps as the pups embark on a plan to stop Duke of Flappington’s plans to use the gem of Barkingburg to raise the whole village into the sky.

The fancy new jets come in handy for Tracker, Everest, and Skye when Ryder and the rest of the pups are captured and held inside the castle of Barkingburg. The team has to focus and work together to save their friends, keep the village safe, and bring down the dastardly duke.

On top of their already packed mission, the pups also have to balance helping the people from Adventure Bay, which includes saving a stunt pilot, and helping out Mayor Humdinger’s kittens. You know, classic PAW Patrol adventures.

The new PAW Patrol: Jet To The Rescue is available to purchase now and can be found on Amazon. Included in the DVD comes four “fan favorite episodes” to watch over and over as well.
