One of the weirder things that happens when you become a parent is that you find yourself lusting after home products the way you once did cars or video game systems. Humidifiers. Air Cleaners. Vacuums. When it comes to the latter, one of the most saliva-inducing is Dyson, maker of brightly colored bagless vacs and bladeless fans. They’re good at air circulation and floor cleaning, but shit are they pricey.
But this week, in honor of its 15th anniversary of doing business in the United States, they’re slashing prices on more than 19 vacuum cleaners. Many of the models you’ve been eyeing online but refused to pull the trigger on are now marked down over $200.
The best deal of the lot is on the rechargeable V6 Fluffy Pro Animal. Designed for hardwood floors, it can suck up both the large chunks of food your kid throws and dust at the same time and is going for $320, down from $550. The cheapest upright is the all-floor Ball Multi Floor Origin at $250, and the top-of-the-line Cinetic Big Ball Animal+Allergy ⏤ which normally goes for a pricey $699 ⏤ is down to $550. Even the pistol-gripped V6 Baby+Child cordless handheld for quick messes is in the mix at only $179.
If you happened to throw down for a Dyson earlier this year and are now kicking yourself, best not to dwell. There are other savings to be had, namely on one of the company’s sleek air purifier/fan combos. They’re discounted too, and the innovative bladeless (and smart) Pure Cool Link is currently $75 off.
The sale runs through early next week.
