A video making the rounds today shows a group of little kids chatting about the NFL playoffs. And, man, watching these four young boys step aside to have a dynamic, though less than completely coherent, conversation about football is a reminder that for most people, sports is a lifelong passion. Also: hilarious.
These kids definitely learned their sports conversation chat by listening to their families. And while they have the mannerisms down, their conversations, while adorable, don’t, uh, feel super fact-based. Consider: “The Panthers threw three touchdown passes and incompleted all of them.” Each kid hilariously trying to offer his own comprehensive analysis of the NFL playoff situation, spouting off buzzwords along the way. But who cares? Their assessments are delivered with a level of passion worthy of any primetime ESPN programming slot. We’d tune in. Watch your back, Skip Bayless.
