Kim Kardashian West and husband Kanye are expecting their fourth child this year—but the reality star isn’t too worried about managing her growing family. On The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Kim revealed how she feels about becoming a mom of four.
“My house is so full, but I heard that parents of four are the most enlightened and calm of all parents,” Kim told host Fallon, adding that, “From one to two felt like one to 20. That was harder than two to three for me.”
During the interview, Kim also spoke about how her two oldest kids, North and Saint, are finally starting to get along, so the last thing the mother of three probably wants right now is more chaos. And while Kim admitted “I was kind of stressing” about having another baby, she also thinks their fourth child will round out the West family perfectly.
“I feel like four is going to be really even though,” Kim said. “Right now it’s like me with two, always, and Kanye just has one, so he’s still living his life.”
And the 38-year-old isn’t alone in her opinion. According to a recent Australian study, parental happiness is linked to how much work parents put into their families. Which means that moms and dads with more kids actually tend to be happier.
Kim hopes the same rings true for her own family. She recently revealed that baby number four, who will be delivered via surrogate (just like daughter Chicago), is a boy with an expected due date sometime in May.
