Genius ‘Gold-Digging’ Dog Pretends to Be a Stray Outside McDonalds So People Will Give Her Food

Just accept that your dog is probably thinking harder about food than you are.

Betsy Reyes Facebook

One Oklahoma City pup is proving that even though your dog can’t read or write, it’s highly likely that they’re infinitely more clever than you. A pit bull named Princess is going viral after her owner made a post to Facebook alerting locals to the fact that the dog had been sneaking out of the house and faking like she’s a stray in front of a local McDonalds. What does Princess get out of the whole thing? Free food, of course.

“If you see my dog at the McDonald’s on Shields, quit feeding her fat ass because she don’t know how to act and be leaving the house all the time to go walking to McDonald’s at night,” Betsy wrote in the post. “She’s not even a stray dog. She’s just a gold [digger] . . . acting like she’s a stray so people will feel bad for her and feed her burgers.”

When I caught her ass in the act ????????????❤️

As if the story needed to be any funnier than it already is, Princess’ owner Betsy actually caught her in the act. One night after realizing that Princess had gotten out, Betsy immediately drove down to the McDonalds, and sure as the sun rises in the morning, Princess was sitting right there scamming everyone who went in or out. What’s even better is the fact that Princess recognized Betsy sitting in the car and even walked right up to the window with a greeting. Once she realized that she’d been caught and there was no food, she stepped down and moved on to the next vehicle.

People seem to really be falling for it too. Betsy caught a couple of folks giving in and throwing Princess some scraps from their car seats. It makes a lot of sense. After all, Princess possesses a dangerous combination of shamelessness and cleverness that make her too cute to not give food to.
