It's proof that being nice is cool.

If you’re one of the 162 million people who follow Dwayne Johnson on Instagram, you might have stumbled across something characteristically delightful in your feed yesterday.

It opens with a dedication to “one of the coolest little boys around, and he’s certainly one of the strongest because he’s a fighter and he’s in the fight of his life.” Johnson is talking about Hyrum Harris, a three-year-old who has been diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia that’s complicated by Down Syndrome.

“You watch Moana almost 10 times a day because a character you love, Maui, gives you strength,” The Rock continues. “People tell me I kind of sound like him. I just wanted to send you a video to tell you how much I love Maui too. I know a little of his song.”

He then proceeds to rap and sing a few measures of “You’re Welcome,” one of the songs featured in the movie before closing out the video with a heartfelt dedication.

“There’s no one like Maui. He’s the coolest thing. I’m a big fan of Maui, too, and I’m a big fan of yours. Thanks for inspiring everyone around you, including myself. Stay strong, Hyrum.”

“Every time Dwayne mentioned Hyrum’s name, Hyrum pointed to his chest and in his soft sweet voice repeated saying, ‘Hyrum,’ as though he knew this was special for him,” mom April told People.

“When he began to sing, Hyrum’s eyes got very wide. He looked at me. Smiled so big. Sang ‘You’re Welcome’ right along with the video. It was touching. Hyrum’s smile is infectious [and] healing to those that serve him and love him.
