When one father was forced by circumstances beyond his control to deal with his diarrhea in the presence of his daughter, the 4-year-old helped him out by clapping and cheering him on.
In what is the craziest dad story told on the internet in quite some time, Clint Edwards, author of a blog called No Idea What I’m Doing: A Daddy Blog, told an insane story of what he was forced to do when a case of terrible diarrhea struck during a family trip. Edwards initially just went into a rest stop to buy corn flakes with his daughter Aspen, but when he suddenly was struck with the need to poop, he had to take his 4-year-old with him into the stall.
And that’s where she cheered her father on.
“I had no choice but to take Aspen into the stall with me,” Edwards wrote. “She watched as I struggled, Moana light-up crocs on the wrong feet, blue eyes wide and supportive, hands clapping. ‘Good job, Daddy! Good job! You make two poops! Now three poops! I’m four!'”
This whole situation was apparently hilarious to a man in the stall next to the family-poop cheerleading squad.
“The man in the stall next to me was obviously holding back tears of laughter. Laughter that busted loose when she called me a “pooping-farting robot.”
So, there you have it. If you think you’re having a rough day with your kids, or you’re worried about their poop grossing you out, just think of Clint Edwards and little Aspen, the most accepting and productive team when it comes to diarrhea
