Dad Builds Son Amazing ‘Star Wars’ Toy Box

It looks exactly like one of the Sandcrawlers roaming the deserts of Tatooine.

YouTube: Never Not Making

When it comes to toy storage, not all boxes are created equally. Some are easier for kids to organize. Others are better at being hidden. And one, masterfully built by Matthew Regonini for his son, is just ridiculously awesome: It’s a toy box that looks exactly like a Sandcrawler from Star Wars.

This one-of-a-kind creation, the making of which Regonini posted to his YouTube channel “Never Not Making,” is a remarkable replica of a Sandcrawler from the deserts of Tatooine. It’s so authentic looking, in fact, that you half expect to see C-3PO and R2D2 pop out at any moment with a couple of Jawas.

The video shows just how much effort Regonini put into the project and really highlights how much serious skill building something this detailed takes. While some ambitious dads may be tempted to attempt to replicate his work, unfortunately, the video doesn’t offer any sort of how-to element. Instead, it simply provides viewers a glimpse into Regonini’s building process.

Turns out, the handy dad has a habit of making incredible furniture for his son entirely from scratch. When it was time to get his son a high chair, he decided to once again go the DIY route and built a high chair that looked exactly like an AT-ST Walker.
