Watch Dad and Baby Dance Like No One’s Watching After Catching a Home Run

Bustin' a damn fine move.

Bringing a baby to a baseball game is always a risk. The games are long, the cheering is loud, and a line drive could be headed straight for your kid’s tiny noggin at any given moment. But at last night’s Orioles game, a dad and his harnessed baby were nothing but smiles and sweet, sweet dance moves after they managed to grab a home run ball hit by third baseman Manny Machado.

In the bottom of the sixth inning, Machado hit a solo shot to the right field stands at Camden Yard, where the few remaining fans in the section scrambled to claim the ball and take home a badass souvenir. But none of them had a chance against this father-daughter dream team.

The dad, with his kid strapped to his chest via an Orioles baby carrier, managed to grab the ball and the duo celebrated by dancing their baseball-loving hearts out. While dad showed off his best dance moves, his daughter was absolutely ecstatic as she bounced up and down with the world’s biggest smile on her face. Of course, all good things must come to an end, and later in the inning, the once excited baby was shown to be in a considerably less cheerful mood thanks to a good old case of the sleepies.

While dad may remember this moment for the rest of his life, his baby almost definitely didn’t remember the home run by the time the next batter stepped up to the plate. Fortunately, in a few years, her dad can show her this magical memory thanks to the power of the Internet. Although she may be too distracted by her dad’s dorky dance moves to truly appreciate that for one night, they were Baltimore legends.
