This Crocheted Glow-in-the-Dark Slimer Costume Is So Good It’s Scary

Pokorny has knocked it out of the park again.

Stephanie Pokorny lit the internet on fire earlier this month when she shared a picture of a hand crocheted Predator costume that she made for her son this Halloween. Now the crochet wiz is breaking the internet with a new stunning creation. The mom has handcrafted a new outfit inspired by the ghost Slimer from the original Ghostbusters film.

The Predator costume was undeniably badass, but this one may take the cake. It’s not just the fact that the Slimer costume has a functional pullover facemask that puts it over the edge. The costume is truly unique because it actually glows in the dark, too. Pokorny apparently achieved this effect by brushing the yarn with a coat of luminescent paint.

In the Ghostbusters film and animated series, Slimer could best be characterized as a total glutton. With that in mind, it’s the perfect costume for any candy connoisseur this Halloween.

Now, Pokorny hasn’t released the total pattern for the design. That means that you probably won’t get a chance to make your own this holiday, unless of course, Pokorny shows you how herself. But, don’t fret, she’s is actually a professional crochet artist with her very own website and Instagram. Once you visit the page, you can pick up anything from fingerlings to witch hats to cool-ass crocheted ties. On top of being a lover of Halloween herself, Pokorny is also a real genius when it comes to these kinds of creations, so you can trust that whatever you get will be costume worthy.
