Chrissy Teigen Shuts Down Parent-Shaming Trolls Who Suggest She Shouldn’t Cook With Wine

Once again, the social-media superstar isn't taking any crap from ignorant critics.

Chrissy Teigen is the undisputed champion of shutting down online trolls who ignorantly parent-shame. And, sadly, her work is never done. Over the weekend, she was back at it after being criticized for demonstrating her culinary skills on Twitter. The social-media superstar posted a video of herself cooking red-wine-braised short ribs and, while most of her followers were impressed with the dish, a few felt the need to imply that Teigen was going to get her daughter Luna drunk on the meal.

Although Teigen never noted whether she was cooking for the family or just for herself and husband, one Twitter user asked: “Did you give your kid a food with red wine in it?” And, yes, it may have just been in a curious, mom-to-mom “I’ve totally done that too” kind of way, but probably not.

In fact, Teigen’s been attacked so much online that she naturally just assumed the inquiry was unfriendly and quickly let the random critic know how unappreciated the unsolicited advice was. She sarcastically responded, “Yeah she gets wasted and sleeps all through the night.” While the original poster then deleted their critical tweet, Teigen’s sharp response got more than 178,000 likes.

Fortunately, this online naysayer did not seem to have any effect on Teigen’s ability to enjoy her delicious meal, as she later posted a photo of the finished dish with the caption “OH WOW.”
