Just when you thought that Donald Trump’s “Space Force,” proposal ruined space news this week, Chrissy Teigen and the folks at NASA redeemed the final frontier with an adorable exchange on Twitter. The spacetacular interaction began when Teigen posted a picture of her baby son Miles in a blue onesie and a NASA beanie. The caption read “space baby!!” and the space agency just couldn’t resist offering up their reply to the photo.
NASA is losing a lot of education programs soon, meaning that fewer kids will have the chance to explore their fascination with the cosmos. With that in mind, it makes sense that they were quick to try and recruit baby Miles.
“We think your little one is out-of-this-world, and we really dig his hat!” NASA commented on the photo. “It’s fitting that he’s wearing blue because newborn stars glow the same color.”
Wow, give whoever wrote that tweet a raise right now. That’s just a grade A compliment, and beyond that, it’s ridiculously good space banter. Still, getting into the space program is extremely hard, but being this cute doesn’t hurt your odds at all, so Teigen may want to consider sending her newborn to baby space camp. After all, in space, no one can hear you scream. Even if you’re a crying baby.
