You’ll Want to Eat Everything in Chrissy Teigen’s Upcoming Kid’s Cookbook

If Chrissy Teigen’s most recent cookbook left you, well, hungry for more, you’re in luck. Or rather, your kids are. The 32-year-old mom, who is as famous for her banana bread as she is for her hilarious Twitter feed, announced on Saturday that she now has a children’s cookbook in the works.

Currently unnamed—Teigen asked fans to tweet ideas for the title at her—the book is being written with her own children, Luna, 2, and Miles, 4 months, in mind. “I know kids have really simple palates and we all want to make them more refined, but they’re just kids, so we’re gonna do stuff that kids are going to love,” she told the crowd during her #CRAVINGSFEST event at the New York City Food and Wine Festival.

While Teigen already has quite the following thanks to her wildly popular Cravings series, there’s one person whose opinion means more to her than all of the food critics and Amazon reviews in the world: her daughter. As she said when asked about the new book, “Hopefully it’s Luna-approved.”

So what would Luna approve of? “Her favorite recipe is the Thai Soy-Garlic Fried Ribs. The picture in the book [Cravings: Hungry for More] where she’s eating one, I think that was her ninth rib or something!” Teigen laughed about in an Entertainment Weekly interview back in September. “It was all over her face. It makes me so happy because there’s this little kid loving these fried chunks of bitter black garlic on these soy sauce ribs, and it’s her favorite thing on the planet.”

Teigen hasn’t yet revealed any of the recipes in the upcoming cookbook, but if her above comments are any indication, there’s a good chance her picks will be the stuff of comfort food dreams. Hungry yet?
