Everyone loves a good murder mystery, and with Chris Evans starring with Daniel Craig in Rian Johnson’s whodunit Knives Out; we’re now faced with two mysteries. The first, is Evans’ character, Ransom Drysdale, really responsible for the entire tragedy of the film and the second mystery is: where the heck did he get such a kick-ass sweater? And can you get one for yourself?
On Thursday, reviews for Knives Out started to drip out ahead of the theater release, and in a review written by Anna Menta, a senior film reporter for Decider, this started a deeper conversation. “The only thing I will say about Knives Out is that, upon seeing Chris Evans in a sweater, the girl next to me gasped and said very softly and tenderly, ‘Sweater,’” Menta wrote in a Tweet.

And when you see a photo of the sweater, you’ll understand. It’s a great sweater. No, not all are made the same, and this particular one stands above the rest.
Folks, we have eyes on ONE beer bottle. Just wait for those other three. No one stands a chance. pic.twitter.com/Ny4KfoPMCq

It’s a gorgeous cream color, it’s a cable knit, which is arguably the second-best behind hoodies, and Evans makes it look impeccable.
IT'S TRUE: There is a scene in Knives Out where Chris Evans is in a freaking cable knit sweater sitting in front of four beer bottles and it's the hottest thing I've ever seen!
I famously have no visual imagination but somehow IT IS FOREVER IN MY BRAIN.

Because people like to have a piece of greatness, the discussion turned to from the murder mystery of Knives Out and focused more on where can we get our hands on this sweater or one very similar for the guys in our lives.

We did a little digging on our own, too and found some other options so we can all go to work on Monday wearing this cozy sweater.
If you’re in Canada, Simons has a very similar sweater that you can make yours for under $100, and while this one is more white than cream, it’s still that happy cable-knit we love. L.L. Bean’s version is almost identical, too, and comes in a few different colors if cream isn’t your jam, but grey is.
Get ready everyone because we’re all about to cozy down in this sweater. And hey, the movie looks good too!
Knives Out is out in theaters on November 27, 2019.
